Foundations and Freedoms

The setting of the this Readers Theater is between the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. It has a large cast of characters from George Washington, Lady Liberty, to Barack Obama. Fifth graders and sixth graders will develop an appreciation for the leaders of our country.

All units are created by current and retired North Carolina certified teachers. Each unit is designed to help students develop a deeper understanding of our nation, an appreciation for its founding principles, and respect for the sacrifices made to create, protect, and preserve our republic.

Your donation helps provide the materials and resources needed to make these projects possible.
